He was born in 1963 in Ankara. He completed his secondary and high school education at Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School and began his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. In the same year, he started his residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. He became a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992. Between 1993 and 1997, he completed his compulsory service. In 1998, he started working as a lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University. In the same year, he began working in the field of IVF and took part in the founding team of the Gazi IVF Center. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and became a Professor in 2009. Since 1998, he has been actively conducting infertility and IVF treatments. He has authored and presented numerous articles and talks both in Turkey and abroad on the subject. In addition to IVF treatments, his areas of interest include reproductive surgery such as endoscopic surgery and hysteroscopy. He is a member of national and international associations related to reproductive medicine (ASRM, ESHRE, TSRM). He is married and has two children.
