Prof. Dr. Mehmet Erdem, one of the founding partners of Nova Art Infertility Treatment and IVF Center, is a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology and IVF. He has been actively working in the field of infertility and IVF treatments since 1998. He has also served as a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and was part of the team that established the Gazi IVF Center. In addition to IVF treatments, Prof. Dr. Erdem has experience in surgical treatments related to reproduction, such as endoscopic surgery and hysteroscopy. Working in collaboration with embryologists, ultrasound specialists, and other healthcare professionals, he contributes to making the dream of parenthood a reality for our valued couples.

Short Biography

He was born in 1963 in Ankara. He completed his primary and secondary education at Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School and began his medical studies at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. The same year, he started his specialty training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. He became a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992 and completed his mandatory service between 1993 and 1997.

In 1998, he joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University as a Lecturer. In the same year, he began working in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and was part of the team that established the Gazi IVF Center. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2009.

Since 1998, he has been actively involved in infertility and IVF treatments. He has authored numerous articles and delivered talks both nationally and internationally on this subject.

Beyond IVF treatments, his interests also include reproductive-related surgical procedures such as endoscopic surgery and hysteroscopy. He is a member of several national and international reproductive medicine societies, including ASRM, ESHRE, and TSRM. He is married and has two children.
