Am Nova Art Zentrum für Infertilitätsbehandlung und IVF ist Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem als Spezialist für Frauenheilkunde & Geburtshilfe sowie IVF tätig. Zudem ist er einer der beiden Gründungspartner des Nova Art Zentrums für Infertilitätsbehandlung und IVF. Seit 1998 arbeitet Prof. Dr. Erdem aktiv im Bereich der IVF- und Infertilitätsbehandlungen und trägt durch die enge Zusammenarbeit mit Embryologen, Ultraschallspezialisten und weiteren medizinischen Fachkräften dazu bei, den Traum unserer geschätzten Paare, Eltern zu werden, Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen.

Kurzbiografie

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem wurde 1963 in Ankara geboren. Nach dem Abschluss seiner Mittel- und Oberschulausbildung am Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Gymnasium begann er 1981 sein Medizinstudium an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Hacettepe-Universität und schloss dieses 1987 ab. Im selben Jahr begann er seine Facharztausbildung in der Abteilung für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Gazi-Universität und erlangte 1992 den Titel Facharzt für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe.

Zwischen 1993 und 1996 absolvierte er seinen Pflichtdienst im Entbindungskrankenhaus Samsun. 1996 nahm er seine Tätigkeit als Facharzt an der Abteilung für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe der Gazi-Universität auf. 1998 begann er mit Arbeiten im Bereich der künstlichen Befruchtung und war Teil des Gründungsteams des Gazi-IVF-Zentrums. Im Jahr 2003 wurde ihm der Titel Dozent und 2009 der Titel Professor verliehen.

Seit 1998 führt Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem aktiv Behandlungen im Bereich der Infertilität und der In-vitro-Fertilisation durch. Zu seinen akademischen Interessenschwerpunkten zählen insbesondere die Assistierten Reproduktionstechniken (IVF, Insemination), die gynäkologische Endokrinologie (polyzystisches Ovarialsyndrom, Menopause, Störungen der Reproduktionshormone), die endoskopische Chirurgie, Endometriose sowie Mehrlings- und Hochrisikoschwangerschaften.

Zu diesen Themen hat er zahlreiche wissenschaftliche Arbeiten in renommierten internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Zudem ist er Mitglied der „American Society of Reproductive Medicine“, der „European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology“, der „American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy“ sowie der nationalen „Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine“. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem ist verheiratet und Vater von zwei Kindern.
